During January 2025, 1 financial institution was admitted as CIPS Direct Participant. 8 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Indirect Participants, among which 1 is located in the Chinese Mainland and 7 are located overseas. 1 CIPS Indirect Participant withdrew.

As of January 2025, CIPS has 169 Direct Participants and 1467 Indirect Participants.

Among Indirect Participants, 1075 participants are from Asia (including 560 from Chinese Mainland), 255 from Europe, 56 from Africa, 31 from North America, 31 from South America, and 19 from Oceania. CIPS participants are located in 119 countries and regions around the world. Business covers more than 4,800 banking institutions in 185 countries and regions around the world.
