CIPS Participants Announcement No. 96

During April 2024, 1 financial institution was admitted as CIPS Direct Participant. 6 financial institutions were admitted as CIPS Indirect Participants, among which 1 is located in the Chinese Mainland and 5 are located overseas. 6 financial institutions were accredited with Direct Participant qualification, namely Bank of China (Brasil) S.A., Bank of China Riyadh Branch, Bank of China Mexico S.A., Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited Brunei Branch, Bank of Communications Tokyo Branch and Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited.

As of April 2024, CIPS has 1518 participants with 141 as Direct Participants and 1377 as Indirect Participants.

Among Indirect Participants, 1023 participants are from Asia (including 564 from Chinese Mainland), 238 from Europe, 50 from Africa, 28 from North America, 20 from Oceania, and 18 from South America. CIPS participants are located in 114 countries and regions around the world. The actual business covers more than 4,500 banking institutions in 182 countries and regions around the world.
